In the early years of my career, I was a masters-level counselor, supporting women who survived trauma, violent crime, assault, addiction, and terminal illness.
I then spent the next ten years building and growing my profession in the fitness industry, coaching and training athletes from the beginner to elite levels on all levels of mental performance and endurance.
It was a powerful experience;
one that taught me that it is not the circumstances in life that shape us,
but what we choose to make those circumstances mean.
A powerful and life-changing lesson, once we learn how to apply it.
However, most importantly, I'm a busy mom with three kids, so I know how crazy life can get, and how easy it can be to lose yourself in the day-to-day hustle of motherhood.
